One common belief at the heart of Christianity is that there is other name than the name of Jesus. We sing it during worship and recite it in our prayers, but what does this well-known, common phrase truly mean?
When we say this phrase, we declare that Jesus is the only name which stands and therefore, is the only One who is embedded in our hearts and minds. It confirms our belief to be a follower of the Saviour who paid the price for our sins by sacrificing Himself on the cross. As we dedicate and commit our lives to Him, we remain confident that our hope in Christ and there is no other name than the mighty, powerful name of Jesus.
