During this time, many are wondering how they will fit all they need comfortably into one box and maintain their familiar standards of living while they can. But the question for us as believers is: How can we think outside the box?
How can we reach above and beyond to help people, expand our ideas and glorify Christ? How can we go the extra mile and reflect Jesus at work in our lives?
The Bible says we need to stir each up and build one another towards good works. We think outside the box by loving our enemies and praying for them. We consider our trials as pure joy and thank God for the gift of life. We think outside the box by living differently from the world around us and standing by Christ.
‘And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.’ Hebrews 10:24-25
‘But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also.’ Luke 6:27-29
