As believers, one of the well-known promises of the Christian faith is that God provides.
We know it, and sing the old church hymns with choruses reminding us of this key promise. During the difficult times and periods when we feel contented and all is well, God will provide.
However, it can be easy to get caught in the noise of the current world dilemma of corona virus, and take the impetuous action to lose sight of God’s promises. From feelings of fear, distress and pessimistic thoughts, our mind can become clouded to think that God’s promises are false, and He does not provide due to how we are feeling.
The fact of the matter is, feelings are fleeting and God’s Word still stands. God will always provide for His children because He loves us dearly, and wants us to come to know of His love. When we look at God’s Word, He reminds us that He will always provide.
‘And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus’ Philippians 4:19
